Justin Willis received scholarship offers from Jarvis Christian College and Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

Willis went on to play baseball for Jarvis Christian College located in Hawkins, TX. He was named RRAC Academic All-Conference 2007-2009. After college he played a stint in the Pecos League of professional baseball clubs.
