• Trenia played basketball with the Grapeland Sandiettes and upon graduating, signed to play foward for the Stephen F. Austin State University Lady Jacks.  That is where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation degree and was named named to SLC 1990's All-Decade Team making her one of SFA's Hall Of Fame players.

    She has outstanding numbers with SFA;

    -She is a 3-time All-SLC Selection

    -She is the 1994 SLC Player Of The Year

    -Eighth all-time at SFA with 1,584 Career points

    -Ninth in school history with 807 rebounds

    -Is fourth all-time at SFA with 104 blocks

    -Her 47 blocks in the 1991 season ties her for ninth-best season in school history

    -Her 1.5 blocks per game still rank amoung SFA Top 10

    After college she went on to play professional basketball in Barcelona, Spain for BARCA.

    She is now the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Tyler Junior College and is an instructor in Health and Kinesiology.
