• Julie was a pitcher for the Grapeland Sandiettes where she earned a lot of recognition.  Upon graduating she was voted the 2007 Dogwood Circle MVP and she earned the title Pitcher Of The Year.  She ended her high school career with an ERA of below 1.00 and she averaged over 10 strikeouts per game.  She was also powerful on offense with a batting average of .464, 14 stolen bases and 5 homeruns.

    After graduating from GHS she accepted an offer to play for Navarro College. The following year in 2008, she recived a full-ride scholarship to play softball for Trinity Valley Community College.
